Before we can go to the skill build I will clear some issues first regarding Adept and secondly, let's determine the two new skills of this class.
First of, the issues.... Here is the thing about Adept... In the past, many players advice me to get at least 1 for Alfredo and 1 for slime. Why did they suggest this? FOR PVP PURPOSES.
Huh? I don't get it? Why Alfredo and Slime needed in PvP?
It's because of those darn Tracking Arrows of Bowmasters.... It is really the most annoying skill for us Alchemist. Do remember that Alche skills are like Elemental Lord's skill and most of them need us Alchemist to be at mid range. I did have a lot of problems in PvP with Bowmasters especially Artillery and I have decided to get 1 for the Slime and 1 for Alfredo.
Can I just take 1? Just Alfredo or Slime?
Of course you can! It totally depends on your preference. If you think the Slime is enough for you then go with just Slime. In that way you can allocate some more points on the skills that can deal damage.
HOWEVER, ONLY TAKE ALFREDO AND SLIME IF YOU ARE GOING SERIOUS PVP-ing or you are a pure PvP player. Adding that robot and slime isn't really that cool in PvP as you will sacrifice some SP for the damager skills.
Now that we clear that up, let's meet the new skills of Adept. Do remember that these two new skills are only passive enhancement or we know as Ex versions of the skills in the Alchemist tree. The two new Ex for Adept are:
Icing Punch Ex- Icing Punch is enhanced to increase attack area and execute additional attacks accordingly to the attack button entered.
Magma Wall Ex- Magma Wall is enhanced. One more magma pillar is added to summon it at four directions and the magma pillars will explode in the end to give damage to the enemies in front.
Now that we meet the Ex skills and clear up some questions on the Adept class, let us head on to my preferred skill build for a level 60 Adept in Dragon Nest SEA [T4].
Now off to explaining why is my skill build allocation like this for my Adept... First of all, I will remind you that my recent level 50 build for Adept is mainly a DPS type. And, there's no difference with my level 60 build. The only thing that change is I got 1 slime for PvP purposes (as what I have explained earlier to you guys).
On the Academic skill tree, I have maximize stun grenade for a higher chance of stunning enemies and wax for the higher slip chance. The passive enhancements are also at max level. Well, I think there's no in-depth explaining needed on the Academic tree as I am pretty sure that you and I have the same build here :D.
One the Alchemist tree, I have just continued what I did with my level 50 skill build for Adept. Meaning, I just added points to those DPS skill. However, I did change one skill and that is Mixed Infection. Well, I think I was wrong in calling this a DPS skill as it doesn't do that much damage per seconds. In PvE, it's only purpose is for clearing small weak mobs while in PvP, I find this skill useful in terms of wasting the Aerial Evasion of the enemy as it can launch them into the air once you hit them with this. Well, now I think that it is better left at level 1 for that purpose only and not to be a part of your main skill rotation. Cocktail is also max for that additional enhancement on buff and the ultimate skill is also at max level which is 2.
Other option would be getting that 1 point on the ultimate skill and putting it on Icing Punch for more DPS. Well, I think it is much better that way :D. For pure PVE, I suggest that you get that points on the slime and allocate it on Icing Punch or any damager skills that you think will inflict the most damage. But remember, just only do this if you don't want to go to the colesseum for some PvP action.
And lastly at the Adept tree as you can see, I have maxed all active skills. The C2H50H is at max level not only for the damage but for that additional debuff on miss rate and elemental resist. The Ice Beam is also at max level for more ICY power and the Ex versions are allocated with points of course as from what you see and read, they are really needed by Adept and there is no chance you would just pass this Ex version by.
