Gear Master Skill Guide level 60 in Dragon Nest

The very first skill guide I will show you is for the Gearmaster... Well, this is my very first character and I would like her to be the first going 60.

There are two Ex skills available for Gearmasters in Dragon Nest SEA once it reaches level 55 and level 60. They are Mecha Shock Ex and Mecha Siren Ex. Now let see what's the benefit of this two new skills:

Mecha Shock Ex- It's an improve version of Mecha Shock. You need at least 1 point allocated on Mecha Shock to get this ex version. WTF! Only 1! That means that I can allocate more points on those great skills on Gearmaster! Oh YEAH!. With this Ex version, The AOE or the shock range of the duck is increased and as well as the damage. Not only that, when the enemy is getting shock by the duck, they are also being provoke by it. So now, not only Alfredo can aggro, but also the duck which is a very great asset to have in PVE!

Mecha Siren Ex- It's the same as the above skill. You only need 1 point to get this Ex skill and, it also increases the area (by 50% and that is very wide by the way) and the attack power by the skill. But the most important improvement that it gives the duck is the increased on movement speed for 9 seconds for PVE and 4 seconds in PVP. You might not see the advantage on this on paper but in reality, it helps the ducks cope up with the enemy movement especially in PVP.

Now that we know the skills, let's proceed to skill builds. I have tried different build but so far, I find this very compatible with me. I can say that this build is more inclined towards PVP. However, this doesn't mean that this build sucks on PVE. It is also good in PVE. Well, I can say that it's 60% PVP and 40% PVE. But anyway, what really matters is the build that suits your playing style. This one suits my playing style and instead of following it step-by-step, I suggest that you just get some points and build your very own. But if you trust me with this one, you can follow my skill point distribution anyway :D.

Skill Distribution Explanation:

As you can see, there are things that I have changed at my level 60 skill build. At level 50, I leveled Biochemical Missile to 4 but now, I dropped it to 1. Things has change with this skill and no matter how much points you level it up, I guess it's intended purpose is to launch the enemy and give the critical and all resistance debuff and, it's not intended to do insane damage. The percentage debuff doesn't increase nor it's duration so I suppose you know by now the reason why I degraded this to 1.

Gatling Tower is now only at level 11 to get that extra 1 point and allocate it to a more important skill or should I say to increase my ultimate skill.

Transition Damage is increased to max level and as well as the Ice Pump Tower. Well, there's no debate on why you should increase these skills.

Why only Mecha Shock at level 6 and not also Mecha Siren at level 6? Well the fact is this: Mecha Shock is more useful than Mecha Siren. Now let's say we are PVP-ing. Which is more important... The ability to remove 2 buffs from the enemy or the ability to electrocute and sometimes put an enemy in place? Well, it's a no-brainer answer that the ability to put an enemy in place is more worth it as a Gearmaster. Remember that GM is all about positioning and making your enemy stay put before you can wreck havoc to them with Alfredo and towers. If the silence duration though was increase at level 6, I would have leveled it to 6. But it doesn't so just level 1 is enough for me.

Also in the academic skill tree, I have maxed the passive enhancement except for HP Mastery (as I sacrifice 1 point on this) and of course, those skills use for utility namely wax and stun grenade. Remember, UTILITY PURPOSE so it basically means that my goal here is not to increase its damage but the percentage it can knock-down enemies for wax and the increase chance to stun the enemy for stun grenade. Also, in this tree, I have maxed Alfredo for that 600% life. With the 450 Mark Update, I have really pumped up Alfredo as in PVP, you can't rely that much on ducks and towers anymore as their HP are decreased. Basically the explanation I have for pumping Alfredo's health is for more usage of Transition damage and of course, to give him more life span in staying in the field.

At Gearmaster tree, I have decided to get the 2 new Ex skills for xHolyShotx. Well, the upgrade is obviously amazing that I can't just let it pass by. Big Mecha Bomber stays at level 1 because based on experience using GM, you will not use it often times as the charging to get the most damage is pretty significant for you to be trapped, disabled or even knocked out instantly by an enemy (especially in PVE). While the Chainsaw Tower is max at level 6 for the maximum damage output. Well, I love this tower and I often use it so it's a no-brainer for me to max it.

The biggest addition in my skill build is getting the Alfredo Hurricane/Whirlwind. You may say that "OH THIS IS A PRETTY NOOB-ISH BUILD!" But my friends, remember that a lot of things have changed in our Journey in Lagendia from level 24 cap to the 450 Mark Update until the level 60 cap. I can say that the 450 Mark Update marks the beginning of a New Era where lots of skills has change and one in Gearmaster, the usefulness of towers and ducks in PVP has been degraded. That is why we need the fire power of Alfredo. By now, I can say that either GM or Shooting Star, one way of becoming a pro Engineer in Dragon Nest SEA is by properly utilizing Alfredo. You should know when to summon him, recall him and use his skills. And that being said, we need to allocate at least 1 point for Alfredo Hurricane.
